The tool aims to stimulate awareness of the need to implement Industry 5.0 and help align education with the requirements of Industry 5.0 in Vocational Education and Training (VET). The result is based on a comprehensive analysis of the convergence and discrepancy between labor market needs and educational offerings. It takes into account well-established European standards such as the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET), the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), and the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). It allows for consistent and objective comparison of educational programs.
The tool itself will develop benchmarking guidelines. They will allow standardization of the benchmarking process and effectiveness assessment of the compliance of educational programs with the requirements of Industry 5.0. The tool will be subject to outside piloting in several project partner countries: Germany, Poland, Estonia, Italy, and Portugal. This process emphasizes that vocational training institutions will align their programs with the genuine needs of the labor market, ensuring that students acquire the necessary skills and competencies to thrive in Industry 5.0.
